<1> 지난 주 T-Bill 수익률과 Yield Curve : 단기 불변 장기 소폭 하락

■ 단기물 수익률은 불변

■ 1년 물 이상의 중장기물 중심으로 수익률이 소폭 하락

   - 전주에 비해 10년 물과 20년 물은 3bp-4bp, 30년 물은 4bp 하락

   => 지난 3주째 횡보 조정 과정 중에 있음.    

  ■ 6월 초 오른 뒤 크게 떨어진 10년 물은 0.70%를 중심으로 안정되는 모습 

  ■ 2년 물 수익률은 6월 내내 0.17%-0.19%에서 안정세 유지. 

<2> 볼커 룰(the Volcker Rule) 수정 확정

 ■ 다음 5개 연방 감독기구는 볼커 룰을 수정하기로 확정함.

   - Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System

   - Commodity Futures Trading Commission

   - Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation

   - Office of the Comptroller of the Currency

   - Securities and Exchange Commission

 ■ 볼커 룰(The Volcker Rule) 이란 은행기관이

   - 자기거래나 

   - 헤지펀드나 PEF(private Equity Fund)에 대하여

   - 이해관계, 혹은 스폰서 혹은 일정한 관계의 보유 유지를 금지하는 규정

     (generally prohibits banking entities from engaging in proprietary 

      trading and from acquiring or retaining ownership interests in,

      sponsoring, or having certain relationships with a hedge fund or 

      private equity fund.)

   ■ 수정된 세 분야는 :

     - 담보보유펀드에 관한 규정 명확화

       (Streamlining the covered funds portion of rule)

     - 외국펀드에 관한 특수규정적용 문제

       (Addressing the extraterritorial treatment of certain foreign funds)

     - 볼커 룰이 적용되지 않는 분야에 대한 은행서비스 및 업무제공 허용

       (Permitting banking entities to offer financial services and

        engage in other activities that do not raise concerns 

        that the Volcker rule was intended to address.)

   ■ 수정된 규칙은 10월 1일부터 발효함

     (The rule will be effective on October 1.)
